Chad Dubose – Jan 12th

Topic: A typical day of fishing in and around historic Savannah

This Month’s Meeting – Wednesday, January 12th
@ 7:00 p.m. at Manuel’s Tavern and via Zoom

Chad Dubose, Manager of Rivers & Glen Fly Shop and owner of Tall Tides Charters – Savannah, GA

Bio:  Chad grew up in Savannah, spending most of his weekends and summers on the water.  In 2008, he moved west and, in 2010, made his way to Montana, working as a fly fishing guide.  After cutting his teeth on the big western rivers and exploring Patagonia, seasonal fishing started to wear on him.  Although the adventures were great, back in Georgia he could fish year-round, favoring sight-fishing for redfish and other inshore species.

So, Chad returned to Savannah in 2015 to run the local fly and outdoor shop, Rivers & Glen, and pursue starting a saltwater charter fishing business. Chad has spent the past few years honing in on the beautiful local waterways. As a result, he wants to share his experience and knowledge with you.

Chad is a dog-lover, too.  He adores his mother-and-son-team of golden retrievers, Georgia Mae and Pigpen.
